Whilst the Sentry can come as a complete proximity detection system incorporating a camera and a monitor, the standard version with standalone LED display can also be seamlessly retrofitted on machines with existing vision systems. A retrofit installation enhances the existing system to give the operator both audible and visual indications on their monitor.
As you can see in this video from one of our customers, this PreView Sentry has been installed on a CAT 950 loader to work in conjunction with the machine’s existing camera and monitor.
By using two technologies together, the operators enjoy peace of mind thanks to the enhanced safety provisions of the PreView system. The retrofit allows them to experience the benefits of receiving active alerts of objects within danger zones, while minimising cost and maintaining the familiarity of their existing systems.
